How we got there !

The name "Enertec" was inspired by two words: energy and technology.

Jean Desrosiers founded Enertec Consultants Inc. in 1992. This company originally specialized in troubleshooting and railcar equipment design. After many successful contracts, Jean Desrosiers acquired R.E. in 2001. Inspired by the company name Enertec Consultants Inc., he created Enertec Rail Equipment.

Wholly owned by Enertec Consultants inc., Enertec Rail Equipment has made its mark in the transportation market as an innovative and unique manufacturer of custom railcar equipments (door latches, busbars, heated thresholds, etc.).

In its present capacity as a consulting, design and manufacturing company, Enertec continues to evolve counting among its clients: Bombardier, AMT, CN, Via and Alstom.
